Next week (Monday the 4th of March- Friday 8th) in collaboration with the United Nations 'Global Goals', in particular, Climate Action, the boys have decided to tackle the problem of recycling and reduction of waste in Willow Park.
Next week (4th-8th) the boys will attempt a 100% reduction of general waste in school and will bring home ALL general non-recyclable produce from lunches and anywhere else where possible throughout the day. General waste bins will not be in use next week.
The boys will be encouraged to reduce the use of single-use plastics for the week and ALL Recyclable goods will be collected for a Junk Art project.
These goods will be collected by the boys and placed in the Hub.
6th Form boys will be visiting classrooms to spread awareness, do collections and check bins.
The whole school will be involved in the Junk Art project.
