What a fun week the boys and their teachers had during one of the key highlights of the Willow Park year, as they celebrated the school’s annual Book Week.
There was the Book Fair in the hub, author visits to the classes and classroom activities throughout the school.
The boys showed their creativity and imagination in their various projects from creating book covers, preparing book blurbs, making miniature storybooks and developing eye-catching Story Boards.
All you have to do is look at the photographs to see how engrossed the boys were in their activities and in their books. The fun continued with a prize-giving ceremony for the boys who did their best in literary activities in the classroom.
Congratulations to Mairead for organising the Book Fair and raising funds to buy books for our classrooms, learning support and our great library.
