Gordon's Game

4th Form meet rugby legend Gordon D’Arcy and Irish Book Awards Winner Paul Howard

On Thursday 24th October 4th form boys were treated to a very special audience in the library with Gordon D’Arcy and Paul Howard. Gordon and Paul, a magic writing
combination, were launching their debut children’s book, Gordon’s Game. The story is
about Gordon who lives on the family farm in Co. Wexford and his life suddenly changes when he discovers an amazing game he has never heard of, rugby !

As well as talking rugby, the boys participated in quizzes, games and sung songs. What a fun way to spend a Thursday afternoon ! Gordon and Paul were such great speakers and memories of Ireland’s disappointing exit from the Rugby World Cup were quickly forgotten !

Gordon’s Game is now available at all good book stores.
