The Willow Park Junior School Annual Christmas Fun Run takes place in the last week of December each year. Organised by the sixth form boys and their teachers, there is always a great festive atmosphere in the school with Christmas music playing, Chocolate treats given out by the 6th form boys to their peers, and plenty of parents in attendance chatting and cheering on their sons.
The 6th formers are fantastic at organising the race and collecting funds for Focus Ireland, reminding us that each euro goes towards helping another family at Christmas time. They take pride in guiding and interacting with all the younger boys especially the Junior and Senior Infants around the course, and it is always a memorable event for all.
