Willow Park Junior School Student Council
True education is about nurturing personal responsibility and self-esteem.
In Willow, we believe in giving the pupils a voice and an opportunity to contribute to the life of the school. The Pupils’ Council is their forum and allows for open and positive communication within the pupil body and between the pupils and the school authorities.
“In Student Council we discuss ideas to improve the school. There is a class rep from each class. We meet once a month in the library before school at 8 o’clock with Ms Hannon and Ms Lochrie. They are very nice to us. At the last meeting a boy suggested to stop people parking on the double yellow lines alongside reception. This idea worked very well. Student council is very fun and we would definitely recommend it!” – Jack and Collie, 4th form.
