The Learning Support Department endeavours to ensure that there is an appropriate system of identification of the special needs of pupils at all stages of their progress through the school and that there is an adequate, co-ordinated and continuous response to the special needs identified.

Willow Park understands that in every class there are pupils with differing needs - boys who encounter difficulty with reading, writing, oral language and number skills; boys who master the curriculum with ease; and boys who demonstrate an extremely high ability and attain high standards. The school endeavours to provide a framework of education that responds to the needs of individual pupils within the context of a supportive and stimulating learning culture.
