Willow Park boys Joshua Fitzpatrick, Daniel Kenny and Jack O'Flaherty are members of St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral's Palestrina Choir. Last weekend, the boys travelled with the choir and their families to Rome. On Sunday, the three boys sang at the Papal Mass celebrated by Pope Francis at St. Peter's Basilica. The Palestrina Choir is one of very few choirs world-wide to have been invited to sing with the Sistine Chapel Choir at St. Peter's. The boys and their families had an audience with Pope Francis on the Saturday morning and the choir sang at the Saturday evening Mass at the Basilica of San Clemente. In addition to a full sightseeing schedule, they also performed a concert at San Clemente on the Sunday evening and a recital at the Irish Embassy on the Tuesday evening.
