M6 Ms Murphy's Class

Dia dhaoibh. M6 anseo. Seachtain na Gaeilge a bhí ann. Bhí gach buachaill ó Pháirc na Saillí ag caint as Gaeilge sa seachtain seo. Bhí na buachaillí níos oige ag damhsa le Gwen Carroll. Rinne cúpla rang teoraíocht taisce timpeall na scoile. Maith sibhse! Bhí gach daoine ag spreagadh Mr Docherty, Mr McAleer, Mr Mageean agus Mr Garvin ag labhairt Gaeilge! Rinne Catherine ceoil Gaeilge. Is é an t-amhrán is fearr linn ná Ireland’s Call. Bhí na ranganna níos sine ag damhsa leis an céilí sa halla. Bhí lá glás ar siúl Dé Deardaoin. Beidh tráth na gcéist ar siúl amárach do rang a sé. Bhí sé an taitneamhach. Rinneamar cluiche teanga le haghaidh rang Mr Crinion. Slán libh. Seachtain na Gaeilge abú!

M6 Boys

Principal's Note -

I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Murphy, Mr. McMahon and Ms. McCabe for co ordinating Seachtaine na Gaeilge this year it was fantastic to see so many boys sing, dance and act through Irish. Watching these performances showed a Scotsman what the real meaning of gra is in Irish as I witnessed all of the activities this week.

I would also like to thank the Sixth Form teachers and Sixth Form young men for a very special ceremony on Saturday. Boys you did the school proud with the respect, courtesy and behaviour shown. I truly meant what I said - you are always my good news that I share with any person, school or Principal that I meet.

Thank you.
