Our Dog Willow

Meet our dog Willow
Our Dog Willow

Let us introduce you to Willow.

Isn’t he one of the cutest dogs you’ve ever seen? He’s also one of the smartest. With your help, Willow will be trained as an Assistance Dog and support a child with a physical disability to carry out everyday tasks and become more independent.

Willow will be trained to do jobs like:

  • Open and close doors
  • Help a person dress and undress
  • Empty the washing machine
  • Switch the lights on and off

An Assistance Dog can even help a child with severe walking difficulties to walk with greater ease.

We aim to raise at least €16,000 which is the cost of a lifetime of training for Willow. But the more we raise, the more dogs we can train!

Every dog trained transforms the life of one person. The fundraising is being organised as part of the effort to set a new World Record.
