Congratulations to all of the pupils and staff in Willow Park Senior School on their spanking new extension.
A religious ceremony took place in the school gym on Tuesday 4th February, which was concelebrated by Fr Denis Gavin and Fr Cormac O’Brolchain.
Fr O’Brolchain then blessed each of the new bright and airy rooms: the ICT room, the wellness suite, the library and the music room along with many new offices.
We wish Mr Alan Rogan, his staff and pupils many happy years of learning and discovery ahead.
Fundraising Campaign
The fundraising campaign associated with the Blackrock College & Willow Park Development Programme was launched in 2006, with a wide-ranging appeal to Parents, Past Pupils and Past Parents to lend their support to what was a landmark initiative in the history of the College.
The response was enormously positive. Since the launch, the Blackrock College & Willow Park Development Programme has raised approximately €15 million in donations and pledges from many hundreds of donors across the three sectors above.
This enormous generosity shown by the Blackrock and Willow family has been instrumental in enabling us to put in place the wide range of new facilities we now provide, putting in place a state-of-the-art educational environment for our students.
The work – and the fundraising campaign – continue and we have several current projects which we are seeking to put in place in the coming months and years. For more on current projects, click here
Campus Development 2018-2022
The next five years will see significant changes made to the campus as the next phase of work of the Blackrock College and Willow Park Campus Development Programme commences.
The work will commence in early 2018 on a phased basis that will see a comprehensive programme of activity being undertaken to continue our commitment in ensuring an environment of excellence for all across the campus.
